He is our Producer, Editor, and head of security. All joking aside, it really was Graeme's Idea to start the YouTube channel. He launched us into the online world, and with his creative vision, attention to detail and belief in me he has started us on this crazy adventure!
Graeme Kellow’s love for cars runs deep – all the way back to his very first ride: a 1982 Toyota Celica, pieced together from two donor cars. With a swapped engine, transmission, and interior, and a body that wore primer until his brother gave it a proper coat of paint, it was a true DIY project and the spark that ignited a lifelong passion.
That Celica was just the beginning. Graeme went on to own an '83 Toyota Supra, which quickly gave way to a '89 Toyota Supra Turbo. After a blown head gasket and some tough choices, the Supra chapter came to a close. Later, he owned a 1992 BMW 318is – but it wouldn’t be until years later that Graeme would truly return to his wrench-turning roots.
That return came in the form of his son’s first car – a 1992 Acura Integra. Alongside his brother, Graeme rebuilt and repainted it in bold Milano Red. It wasn’t just a father-son project – it was the start of something much bigger.
In 2023, Graeme and Carla began working on classic cars together. One day, Graeme had a bright idea: “What if we shared our journey on YouTube?” That’s how Cruising with Carla was born.
At first, the channel focused on their own builds – rare and beautiful classics like a 1956 Canadian Monarch Richelieu convertible (one of only 13 known to exist), a 1956 Bel Air convertible, and a sleek 1956 Monarch Custom Coupe. But soon, the vision grew and we
started interviewing fellow car enthusiasts and capturing not just the cars, but the stories behind them.
The first feature – Brian Kelly’s “Crown Jewel,” a stunning 1955 Crown Victoria – struck a chord. To their surprise, it soared past 80,000 views, and the feedback was overwhelming: people loved the passion, the nostalgia, and the community feel. That’s when Cruising with Carla shifted gears.
Now, it’s all about celebrating the people behind the wheel – their stories, their builds, and the memories these machines hold. Whether it's a barn find or a pristine resto, every car has a tale, and Graeme & Carla are here to share it.
So buckle up and join the ride. This is Cruising with Carla – where classic cars meet real stories and genuine passion.
